The location is excellent, situated near the dock and easily accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for activities on the island. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The breakfast is delicious and offers a good variety of options. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern, making it easy to prepare meals.

The hostel lacks proper signage, making it difficult to locate upon arrival.

I recently stayed at Hostel Papagaio for a week while exploring Ilha Grande. The location was perfect, right in the center but still quiet at night. The host, Vanessa, was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The breakfast she made every morning was delicious, with fresh cakes, juices, and eggs. The hostel itself was clean, cozy, and felt like home. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Ilha Grande.
